Research has revolutionised the lives of people with asthma

Living with Severe Asthma

How does severe asthma affect people's lives?

Sometimes, you may feel alone and that no one understands how significantly asthma affects your life. However, awareness of severe asthma is increasing and better support and understanding are on their way.

If you are struggling with your asthma symptoms speak to your doctor or call the 1800 ASTHMA Helpline (1800 278 462)

Asthma Australia recently funded research to explore the experiences of Australian’s living with severe asthma.  Researchers asked people how asthma and asthma treatment impact their quality of life and their capacity to lead the kind of life they want.

Below are quotes directly from the study describing what living with severe asthma is like for people like you.
