10710NAT Course in Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness

Graduates of the Course in Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness will be able to identify signs and symptoms of an allergic/anaphylactic reaction by providing emergency first aid using an adrenaline autoinjector device. In addition, they will identify allergen risks and develop risk minimisation plans for people where a duty of care is present.

This course meets the requirements for Anaphylaxis Training under the Education and Care Services National Law, and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).

Delivery Options and Duration: Full face to face Training - 3 hours | Mixed mode Online/face to face - 1 hour with pre-course work

22303VIC Course in Verifying the Correct Use of Adrenaline Autoinjector Devices

Graduates will obtain the required skills and knowledge to verify that an individual, who has successfully completed the online modules of the ASCIA Anaphylaxis eTraining for Victorian Schools can demonstrate correct use of all adrenaline autoinjector devices prescribed in the ASCIA e-training and are currently available in Australia.

This course meets the requirements for Ministerial Order 706: Anaphylaxis Management in Victorian Schools

Delivery Options and Duration: Full face to face Training - 2 hours | Online Training Available

​Cost: 
Government/Catholic schools: = free of cost (for up to two staff per school campus) | Extra participants = $37.50 per person | Independent schools = $37.50 per person
