22303VIC Course in
Verifying the Correct Use of Adrenaline Autoinjector Devices

The Department of Education and Training has listed The Asthma Foundation of Victoria as it's preferred provider for the short course 22303VIC Course in Verifying the Correct Use of Adrenaline Autoinjector Devices in Government Schools. This funded training will be available from 1st July 2018 until 30 June 2021. All Government Schools in Victoria will be able to have two (2) staff members trained through the funding arrangement.

Graduates will obtain the required skills and knowledge to verify that an individual, who has successfully completed the online modules of the ASCIA Anaphylaxis eTraining for Victorian Schools can demonstrate correct use of all adrenaline autoinjector devices prescribed in the ASCIA e-training and are currently available in Australia.

Graduates of this course will not have the skills and knowledge to train others to be a verifier or to train others to correctly use adrenaline autoinjector devices.

Note

This course is only valid for schools in the state of Victoria who fall under Ministerial Order 706 and the associated guidelines. This course is NOT accepted by ACECQA for Children's Services.

Pre-Requisites

To attend this training, participants are required to provide evidence of a current statement of attainment from one of the below nationally accredited courses: 

  • 10710NAT Course in Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness (or it's predecessor 10313NAT Course in Anaphylaxis Awareness)
  • 22300VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis (or it's predecessor 22099VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis)

Participants are also required to complete and provide evidence in the latest version of the ASCIA Anaphylaxis e-training for Victorian Schools.

  • Independent schools = $37.50 per person
