22303VIC Course in
Verifying the Correct Use of Adrenaline Autoinjector Devices

For school staff who want to become anaphylaxis supervisors in their schools or who wish to renew their qualification.

The Department of Education and Training has listed Asthma Australia as its preferred provider for the short course 22303VIC.  Please note – this course is recommended for School staff only. It is valid for schools in the state of Victoria who fall under Ministerial Order 706 and the associated guidelines. This course is NOT accepted by ACECQA for Children’s Services.

This course has two prerequisites which you must have already completed before attending this training:

ASCIA Anaphylaxis e-training for Victorian schools (date on your certificate must be no more than 2 years from the date of the training session you are planning to attend)

If you do not have a valid certificate (see photo left) then Click here to complete your e-training  this training will take approximately 1.5 hrs.

Remember to save your ASCIA e-training completion certificate, then return to this page to continue.

Please note: the certificate does not need to be signed, as you are attending the Verifier session it will override the need for a signature.

The ASCIA e-training for Victorian Schools is not managed by Asthma Australia and our staff cannot provide you with technical assistance for this course. If you require technical assistance for the ASCIA e-training for Victorian Schools you will need to complete this online form

You must also have completed ONE of the following courses no more than 3 years before the date of your training:

You will be required to:

  • Complete further online training in addition to the ASCIA e-training (approximately 1 hour)
  • Stay back after the verifiers course for 30 minutes – 1 hour to complete the practical assessment for 10710NAT

You will be required to upload both of your certificates on the enrolment page. Once you have done all this please click on the session you would like to enroll in.

This course is available both face to face and online

The online version requires you to complete online modules and send in a small video of yourself completing the practical task. The online course can be completed at a time which suits you. To be eligible, you need to provide both pre-requisites for the course to Asthma Australia.
