Asthma app - the mobile teaching tool

As part of Asthma Australia’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our support materials we are switching to digital, and keeping things simple for you, wherever you are.

Asthma Australia launches the Asthma app

Based on the hugely popular Health Professional Flipchart that has been in demand for many years, the app aims to assist in the provision of key asthma self-managements steps – right at your fingertips.

The Asthma App provides easy access to:

  • the latest asthma information
  • asthma medication and devices
  • device technique videos
  • asthma action plans
  • asthma first aid steps
  • and the Australian Asthma Handbook clinical guidelines

You can even refer patients to our Patient Education Referral Service for additional support directly from the app.

Once you have downloaded and used the app, we are very keen to hear your feedback:

  • How was your experience?
  • Did the app help you provide asthma education with your patients?
  • What functions would you like to see in future versions?

Let us know through the Contact us button in the app or email us at info@asthmaaustralia.org.au

Where can I download the Asthma app?

Head straight to the iTunes app store and search Asthma – look for the blue balloon
