Express yourself at Revive Fashion Fest
If a thrift shop rummage is how you express your fashionable personality, then you’re in for a treat.
Asthma Op Shops will have their best curated outfits on offer, alongside Brisbane’s leading second-hand clothing stores, at Revive pop-up fashion festival Friday August 17 at Brisbane’s South Bank.
This year, Asthma Op Shops are stepping up to deliver the a new shopping experience at Revive, with their very own stylist on hand to help shoppers make an outfit pop.
Manager of the Asthma Charity Op Shops Matthew Thurecht said Revive is the best place to experience Brisbane’s sustainable fashion scene.
“We’re all bringing our best, most unique stock and it’s all for a good cause,” he said.
The Asthma Op Shops have been carefully curating their fashion collection for more than two months in preparation for Revive.
With the help of models from Vogue Cosmetica Academy, a pre-fashion shoot will show their best items for sale via their Instagram @asthmaopshops
Shoppers will receive other benefits on the day such as discount offers when they visit the Asthma Op Shop.
“Be sure to take your time to sift through outfits and accessories, the perfect addition to your wardrobe could be at our store,” said Mr Thurecht.
In addition to shopping, there will be a speaker’s marquee to learn everything you should know about creating a sustainable wardrobe and the circular economy.
Mr Thurecht will join the speaker’s panel on the circular economy and what people need to know before they donate their wares or pre-loved fashion.
The sustainable fashion festival is in its fourth year, headed up by Brisbane City Council. For more information visit the Brisbane City Council’s website.
