Research has revolutionised the lives of people with asthma

Make a gift in memory

To make a gift in memory is a beautiful way to remember a loved one, or mark the anniversary of their passing.

Monetary gifts help make a difference in the lives of people with asthma by supporting our critical support services, as well as our education and research programs.

To make a Gift in Memory phone free call 1800 ASTHMA (1800 278 462). Donations over $2 are tax deductible.

How to request Gifts in Memory at a funeral service?

Requesting donations in lieu of flowers, provides the opportunity for family, friends and funeral guests to give a meaningful gift that will help fund future asthma research and education programs.

If you would like family and friends to give a gift to Asthma Australia in lieu of flowers, we suggest including the following request in your loved one's death notice:

"Donations in lieu of flowers to the Asthma Australia"

We can arrange Gift in Memory envelopes to be available at your loved one's funeral. You can ask your funeral director to contact us directly, or order the envelopes as outlined below:

  • Phone free call 1800 ASTHMA (1800 278 462)

Once Gifts in Memory have been received, a letter of condolence and appreciation will be sent to you, or the nominated next of kin, advising the name(s) of those making the donation. Gift amounts remain confidential.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

For Funeral Directors

We invite you to keep a supply of our envelopes for clients who may request them. Please call 1800 ASTHMA (1800 278 462) and we will have the envelopes delivered to you.

Thank you for supporting Asthma Australia
