Research has revolutionised the lives of people with asthma

Emergency Asthma Management 10392NAT

Asthma affects 1 in 9 children, many of whom attend care services regularly. It is important that staff in these services have a good understanding of asthma, put in place strategies to minimise the impact of asthma and have the skills and confidence to manage an asthma emergency. Having the right knowledge to act quickly could save a child's life.

Emergency Asthma Management (10392NAT) is a three hour certified course for a comprehensive overview of asthma as it relates to children in care, and especially recognising and responding to an asthma emergency. This has been approved by ACECQA as meeting the requirements for emergency asthma management training in the National Regulations for Early Childhood Education and Care.
