Is severe asthma making life challenging for your child?
The Liberty Asthma Voyage Study is currently inviting parents of children 6 to 11 years of age with severe asthma to see if their child may qualify for this important study.
The Voyage Study is evaluating the safety and efficacy of an investigational drug for severe asthma in children 6 to 11 years of age.
This trial has received ethics approval from the Children’s Health Queensland Human Research Ethics Committee. The HREC Reference number is: HREC/16/QRCH/382.

This study is open to those who meet the following criteria (among other qualifiers):
- Are 6 to 11 years of age
- Have a doctor’s diagnosis of severe asthma for at least one year prior to screening
- Have experienced either of the following within one year prior to the start of the study:
- Treatment (at least once) with a systemic steroid (oral or parenteral) for worsening asthma
- Hospitalisation or emergency medical care visit for worsening asthma
