Make an application for funding

Investment in research is a critical priority for Asthma Australia. Over the past several decades our investment has given rise to tremendous outcomes in new treatments, new programs, supportive approaches and clues around the cause and hopes for cure.

Moreover, our research program has provided vast opportunities to researchers to develop their skills and become champions in their fields, people with global renown and who have been ambassadors of the Asthma Australia cause and mission. To be added to the national research program database to be kept up to date with latest developments click here.

The National Research Program has been on hold since we began our national merger on October 1, 2017. As a new organisation, we were obliged to review the program, re-establish its principles, governance and grant procedures and look forward to reinvigorating it later this year. In the new iteration, Asthma Australia intends to increase the emphasis on strategic alignment of research priorities and a dedicated approach to translation of results, so research outcomes tangibly lead to improvements in the lives of people with asthma across Australia.
