Become a trainer

Are you interested in becoming a trainer in asthma, anaphylaxis or first aid?

If you are wanting to become a licenced trainer in any of our courses whether it is working for your own organisation or for the Asthma Foundation of Victoria, you will need to take the steps listed below.  

Step 1

Attend one or both of our trainer courses:

- Asthma Management Trainer Course
- Anaphylaxis Management Trainer Course

This also includes completing a post course assignment within 4 weeks after the course.

Step 2

Once you have successfully completed the trainer course you will be able to apply for a licencing agreement with us. For us to provide you with an agreement you will need to provide evidence of the following:

- Certificate IV in Training and Education
- Either hold a certificate in Advanced first aid or provide evidence of being a health professional
