How about wearing
your PJs all day?
Join us and be part of national PJ Day
Every winter Asthma Australia hosts its PJ Day event, an event held in support of the 2.5 million Australians living with asthma, many of whom are children. In fact, it’s the leading cause of children missing out on school.
The event was founded in 2009 by Montana, a young girl living with asthma, who spent a lot of time in hospital in her PJs and wanted to share some fun and help support asthma research.
With the support of Asthma Australia and our community, that is what this event became. It’s all about having fun in your PJs, and raising funds for asthma research.
Join us. It’s pretty simple. All you need to do is pick a date between 1 June (which happens to be International Children’s Day) and 31 August and host your very own PJ Day!
Pick an idea for your PJ Day event – you’ll find some easy tips here – and start planning. You might hold a morning or afternoon tea, have a games day or simply ask for a gold coin donation.
Once you have chosen the date of your PJ Day event, register online here.
You will receive a fantastic Welcome Pack from Asthma Australia. It contains health information, posters, flyers, ideas that can help you share the fun, and ways to dress up your school with some colour, as well as provide education about asthma and how they can help us free the community from asthma!
Register now and have some fun, and know you’re positively impacting the lives of people with asthma.
